New year new season new bikinis

Since I have some new bikinis out I furred I would talk about how they came to be and where the names come from.

First up the Kati top and Gracie Knickers
the Kati top is something that is sexy and can be a little revealing but always stays in place. The name comes from a Pole/ Yoga lady now living in Melbourne Australia, but I met her at my very first APQ competition in Perth Australia.

Then the Gracie knickers, they are a high waist strappy knicker with enough crotch width to feel comfortable enough doing the splits anywhere in public. These were named after the Amazing Gracie Buntine, a strong young lady also from Melbourne that needs no introduction.

I unofficially call this the Melbourne set ;)

Next we Have the Celia Top, a halter top with a hint of harness. This one I have made the cup a little bit larger to make sure no one pops out of it while swimming, dancing or just Festivaling. Named after one of our Models Celia its is perfect for just enjoying life.

the Salomé playsuits

These are something I have been wanting to do for a long time, a mesh knickers with some harness top. They are great for adding something special to your festival outfit or just your pole outfit. They are unisex and can be worn any old way. Named after our super sexy Model Salomé, these are bound to sizzle.

The Sweetheart Leotard

And finally the Sweetheart Leotard, its a Leotard with a heart cut out over your bum. And the top is very 80s inspired with  the cut generally showing some side boob and cleavage.
Named after its heart in the sweet spot, I make these to your special specifications in colours. If you head over to my shop you can make your own colour way.

Here I have 3 versions of so many.

So far this is what's new, I am bringing some more things into the mix later in the year but do not fear there will be another blogpost about it.

Lots of Love

Ivy Raynes mini me

I had a request from Ivy Rayne to make a costume for a doll to match a old costume she already has.
She sent me the Doll and photos of her in the costume, and I started making this tiny version.

Here is the doll doing some practice moves in her costume at my house

And she seemed happy with the costume so we decided to show it to her owner.

She also liked it which meant we could ship her back to Australia, where she had to get started on rehearsals for her Felix Cane Pole Competion performance.

Here some adventures in rehearsal

It was a fun little project, and they both looked great. Can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Until Next time

Champaynes Cow Girl

Once again I had the pleasure to work with Champayne aka @julie_moran_champayne on instagram.

This time it was for the Felix Cane Pole Championships 2018

The Costume Idea came from her, and its a Bra, Champayne knickers, chaps, Vest and cuffs in Black and pink. Adorned with around 250 Swarovski crystals and hand cut fringe out of the lycra we made the costume out of.

Here some images;
The Champayne kickers

The Bra with the cuffs and Knickers

The Chaps and Vest

And here all of it together

And a close up of the back of the vest.

The bra its self wasn't made by me, I used a favourite of hers and covered it and added the neck piece.
She added some more Crystals to match the Hat to the costume, and to be honest there can never be enough Sparkly things. ;)

Here some photos of the performance;

And Back stage

She as always was stunning I wish I could have seen it live.

Until next time

The Sunday Bumday

So we have been putting up some #SundayBumday photo's of our items on our Facebook page.

Every sunday for the last month, its sort of coincided with advent a little and I am thinking of continuing this for a little while.
Here are some that I have put up already for your viewing pleasure ;)

Felix Cane in her Booty Bedazzled shorts

Betty in our Spider knickers Version 2

Betty in our Booty Bedazzled shorts

And the Lovely Julie (Champayne) from Perth with one of the leopard print samples I made while still living in Australia.

Here is the very first #sundaybumday photo taken by Yoko Taketani wit our Booty short made for her

I am hoping to give my customers a chance to show their #SundayBumday photo's via Facebook and maybe later on my website.
I like to see women or men of all shapes and sizes having fun with this, giving us a chance to celebrate everyone.

Thanks for reading

Personalise your bum or Bedazzle it

I have been wanting to do a simple line of knickers that you could personalize by adding your name in Swarovski crystals on the bum.
Or any other wording of course.
I named it Bedazzle it, because its easy and simple.

So I was trying to think of ways to get this out on the social media, into the world etc.

I am in Switzerland at the moment with possibly one of the strongest currency right now making it tricky to stay competitive in the market.

When I saw that Felix Cane, possibly the most amazing lady ever is having a competition back in Perth where I picked up my fascination with Pole dance.
I wrote to find out if they would be interested in having me make some shorts for Felix and to take a #sundaybumday picture to promote the items. And I would then give the winner a pair of shorts with their chosen name/ word on them.

And yes so it happened, I was over the moon.

But now the big work had to start, I had to make sure I could get all the things to them in time for photo's and before the competition.
I didn't want to let them down because they were doing me a huge favor, and I hoped that they would get something out if it as well.

All the things were ordered and everything was put into motion to get this done.
I even decided to order Gold and Black fabric to match the theme of the competition, making sure that what I will make for the winner and Felix of course, truly is a one off.
Here is the photo's before I send them off to Australia

And once she had taken her photo

She got the crystals to shine in the sun :)

Its quite a time consuming task gluing each single stone onto the shorts, and I don't think I could ever charge a hourly rate for it because no one would pay that for shorts. But at least I get spread some smiles and hopefully fun times with these items. And maybe people will look at my other items as well in the future.

Please email me with requests
I have order forms for studios or groups of people to be able to share the freight costs.

Anyway lots of love

Costumes for a group

At the start of the year I offered to make some pole Costumes for my pole class.
They were developing a routine and we performed it at the studio open day in April.

We all have different tastes in pole clothing, some of us are worried about certain parts of our body others not so much.
So I ended up bring fabric samples in to see what colours they liked, we all also had our favorites and they were different. But we got to agree on a colour set and I gave the group 5 different options in design they could choose from.

Here are some photos of us in these garments.

thanks to the ladies for letting me use the photos
And thanks for letting me make these costumes :)

Saying goodbye to Burlesque Costuming

The day has finally come, where I have decided to leave the custom burlesque costumes alone.

I haven't made that many in the past, and I am glad I never went into the industry too deeply. But before it all gets too serious I realized it was not for me.

I had fun designing and nutting out ways to peal off clothing with my clients, and I even got to see some pretty cool ideas come to fruition.

From Roses loosing her petals, swans peeling layers off and a male flashdance sparkler costume.

I would like to work towards my hobby and dream to do more odd garments, such as wearable art, up cycled and just plain strange.

And I hope that my clients get to go forth with many more years of fun and flirtation all over the worlds stages and clubs.

thank you very much for the interesting times
I wish you all well

lots of love

21 May 2013

some nine to five in my blog

So I am part of a team that makes costumes for a local balllet company,
and we build one new ballet each year.
This year it was the old Scottish love story of La Sylphide.

Meaning we got to play with lots of tartan and make men wear Kilts.
Nothing better than a man in a kilt.
The ladies also got some very, spiffy outfits. And then some rather fairytale like Tutu's.

I am only allowed to show you the press photo's but luckily they are show quite a bit.

As you can see the Gentlemen look quite polished in their Kilts.

Madge the witch telling the girls Fortune, she is amazing to watch.

And the Lovely Creatures of the forest, the Sylphs.

Then La Sylphide and her Love James.
If you ever get the chance to see this ballet please do so, it is short but sweet and pretty in every way.
 something not to miss

for this particular ballet check out for details
